Effective from 3 September 2026. Todi is a platform with games and learning for children, families, and classes. This document explains the terms on which you can use it. What we do with data is in Privacy Policy. We wrote this document briefly and in plain language. It doesn't try to describe every situation in advance: where we don't know the answer, it's more honest to say so than to make up a rule.
This is the main condition, and everything else depends on it. The service is not finished. Sections appear and change, some things don't work as intended, and some things may disappear. We don't promise that Todi will be available when you need it, that data won't be lost, or that a feature you're used to will stay in place. Don't store the only copy of anything important with us. If a child's drawing, a lesson material, or a recording matters — keep your own copy.
Todi is designed for children, their families, and teachers. An adult creates an account for themselves. An adult creates an account for a child from their own account — themselves, from the "Family" section. By creating it, you confirm that you have the right to make decisions for this child. We don't verify age at registration. If the laws of your country require parental consent for using such services, it's your responsibility to give it and ensure compliance — not ours.
Everything you upload — games, materials, pictures, texts, messages — remains yours. We don't claim rights to it and don't use it for advertising. You only allow us to store and display it within Todi so the service can work: to show your material to a student, a picture to a chat partner, a game to whoever you opened it for. When you post something, you're responsible for having the right to post it: that it's yours or the copyright holder allowed it. What you can't post: someone else's without permission, anything illegal, malicious code, and anything that shouldn't be seen by children. Todi is a platform for children, and the bar is higher than usual. We can remove what you've posted or close access to your account if it violates the rules or the law. Usually we'll write first, but if there's clear harm to children — we'll remove it immediately.
Let's be straightforward, without legal jargon. For what others write and do. Messages in classes and rooms are not moderated: we don't read them or check in advance. A room owner invites whoever they want, including people without an account. If your child uses classes and rooms — know that they may be talking to people you didn't invite, and decide whether that works for you. For the content of games and materials uploaded by users. We limit them technically — third-party scripts and outbound requests are forbidden — but we don't check the content. For outages and data loss. The service is provided as is and as available, without any warranties, including warranty of fitness for your purposes. We don't answer for lost profits, a ruined lesson, a spoiled day, and any indirect damages. For third-party services. Google, mail servers, your browser's notification service — they aren't ours, and we can't control their outages. For educational results. The mini-school supports children, but doesn't replace school, and materials are written by us and may contain errors. You make decisions about your child's education. These limitations apply to the extent permitted by the law of your country. Where the law doesn't permit them — they don't apply, and we don't dispute that. In particular, data protection obligations are not waived by this document.
The Todi Assistant runs on a third-party language model, and conversations with it go to Google. For details, see Privacy Policy; read it before letting your child use it. Todi can make mistakes and make things up. Don't rely on its answers where a mistake would be costly.
You can stop using Todi at any time. A parent can delete their child's account themselves; to delete your own, write to us — for now it's done manually. We can close access for rule violations, and also stop running the service or any part of it. If we're shutting down Todi entirely, we'll try to warn you in advance and let you get your data.
We'll be changing this document — more often during beta than usually. The date at the top shows the last revision; for significant changes, we'll notify you in the interface. It's up to you whether to keep using the service or not. If the new terms don't suit you, stop using it and write to us so we can delete your data.
